Sometimes life gets in the way.
I’ve been back from Latvia for weeks, and although I’ve processed (most of) the rolls I shot there, I haven’t found (made?) the time to post them anywhere. There’s a box of rolls I’ve shot since then that still need to be developed. And I’m starting to question whether post-by-post photoblogging is really what I need to be doing right now. With my process being so resolutely analogue at the moment, my post-rate is much slower. It probably makes more sense to post sets/galleries. Which means I may well kill this blog and start another Wordpress (I’ve got a multisite installation, which makes setting up a new Wordpress site from my Jacobsamlarose.com domain as easy as pressing a button…)
Decisions, decisions. In the meantime, plenty of things to do. And when it all gets a little too busy, it’s nice to be reminded of a beach in Latvia, sand falling through fingers, with time to laugh and be.
