Hm. I think I’ve shot my way through my “falling in love with the Yashica” phase. It makes photographs, and they’re square, and if you point the glass in the right direction and twiddle the knobs until the red line meets the yellow line and press the shutter release at the right time, then you’ll get something that looks pretty neat. Great.
Lust over - let the real hard love begin. I am, by no stretch of the imagination, a virtuoso of this particular instrument yet, but I think I’m in the market for a filter to help refine my eye.
In other words, I need a project.
[And in other news, the built-in light meter has failed. Time to send it in for repair, subject to the next influx of disposable income…)
